- Communication preferences
- Session data for authentication
For Children (Strictly Protected)
- Pseudonyms only — We never store or display real names publicly
- Birth year only — We do not store exact birth dates
- General location — Country/region only, never precise addresses
- Photos only with consent — All EXIF/GPS data is stripped
2. How We Use Information
- To operate the orphanage administration platform
- To connect donors with verified orphanages
- To track and report on donation impact
- To send transactional emails (confirmations, updates)
- To ensure child safety through moderated communications
3. Child Protection Measures
All sponsor-to-child communications are moderated before delivery
No direct contact information is ever shared
Access to child records is role-based and audited
Photos require explicit guardian consent
Staff undergo background verification
4. Data Storage & Security
- Data is stored on Cloudflare's global network
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt (12 rounds)
- All connections are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS)
- Sessions expire after 30 days of inactivity
- Regular security audits are performed
5. Your Rights
- Access: Request a copy of your data
- Correction: Update inaccurate information
- Deletion: Request account and data deletion
- Portability: Export your data in standard format
